Scholarship

Scholarships will be available to youths ages 5 to 17 who show an interest in learning ice sports but demonstrate a financial hardship that may prevent them from participating. Applications will be accepted twice a year (before the Fall session and before the Spring session) with the support of SCHEELS. Scholarship recipients will be awarded based on their specific needs and the program for which they are applying.

“Our mission is to make sure that those who want to be involved are able to do so, without obstacles,” said Joel Grace, president of GRISCA. “Reno Ice is here to serve our entire community. We feel passionate about the opportunity to assist any child that may not otherwise have the opportunity to be involved in ice sports.”

We are currently accepting applications for all Spring 2024 programs.
