NHL Learn To Play - Ages 5-10

USA HOCKEY REQUIREMENT

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2020-2021 Season. All HC Reno Ice youth team members, please use coupon code PlayHockey2020 when checking out to receive a free USA Hockey 2020-2021 player membership.

  • Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.

  • Please note: How you enter your name on the USA Hockey platform for registration is how you also need to enter it when creating your DASH account.  

  • Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.

The NHL "Learn to Play" program is designed for boys and girls ages 5-10 who have NO prior hockey experience and are interested in playing ice hockey. Our goal is to create a positive first-time hockey experience for all of our athletes.

We are very excited to partner with the NHL and the Vegas Golden Knights to offer this 16-week program.

To be eligible you must:

  • Be between 5-10 years old

  • Be new to hockey

  • Have a great attitude

What you get:

  • 8 weeks of Learn to Skate and 8 weeks of Learn to Play.

    • practices are once a week on Sundays.

Prior to the start of the program, players will receive:

  • Ice Hockey Skates

  • Helmet w/Cage

  • Shin Pads

  • Elbow Pads

  • Gloves

  • Shoulder Pads

  • Pants

  • Jersey

  • Socks

  • Hockey Stick

  • Equipment Bag
